Recently I've made a lot of R APIs. They often come with a web app that allows users to interact with the API. I've tested out several different R API frameworks and javascript frontend frameworks. I've settled on Ambiorix for the API and Solidjs for the frontend.
I created an example app with my preferred structure for R web apps and APIs. It is simple and flexible and allows me to develop more quickly and confidently than other app structures I have tried in the past. I hope you find it useful too.
